'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League comeback

Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in going back to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year contract he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the maiden major honor of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he earlier was, and would seriously think about prolonging his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had escaped him until he won the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would react after breaking his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
